So I'm just gonna say this here, because it's something I noticed and I'm curious if anyone else noticed it...

As many of us are aware, a lot of people hate Asgore and Chara. No surprises there, huh? It's been like that for quite some time. What I noticed when I looked carefully, however, is that these two are implied to have been very close to each other.

Let's first take into account Frisk's first time meeting with Toriel and Asgore.

When Toriel first sees Frisk, she has no reaction other than to introduce herself. When Asgore sees Frisk for the first time (in a pacifist or neutral route), he is completely taken back and tells Frisk they looked like a child of his (i.e Chara). And just before that, he's watering his flowers, the only reminders he has left of Chara and Asriel.

Speaking of which, Toriel never mentions them. I wonder why?

Then there's the fight against Asgore. Throughout the entire fight, the narration is completely silent. If you CHECK Asgore, there is no flavor text. Just his stats. If you follow the Narrator Chara Theory, this means that Chara is not enjoying this one bit. In the fight against Toriel, there is only a few and small and simplistic flavor text, but in Asgore's, nothing.
And when the fight is over, he says Frisk has that same look of hope in their eyes as Chara did. (What kind of hope, though, is up to you)

And then there are all the golden flowers around his house, the symbols of his children, and the sweater with 'King Dad Guy' written on it. It's heavily implied Chara knitted it. No really, just think for a moment. How big is Asgore? He's a boss monster, and has a big sprite. Personally, I think he's at least 7 feet tall. Chara was a kid, and small in size as compared to him. And they took their time to knit him a sweater. Can you imagine how much hard work that would have needed?

I'm not sure if this is coincidental or not, but I found it interesting how much Chara and Asgore are hated by the fandom, and how many connections these two have.

Just felt like pointing it out. Criticize me if you want.
I noticed this....anyone else did?

Asgore's up there in my top three favorite characters... I think there should be way more content with him... He made some bad choices, it's true, but he's not necessarily a bad guy.
And everyone's depictions of Chara... Well. That's one of the reasons I made Triad.
